Overview

Inconel 52 (AWS ERNiCrFe-7) is a nickel-chromium-iron welding wire designed for welding of Inconel 690 and for overlay cladding of nuclear pressure vessel components. High chromium content provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in PWR primary water.

Applications

Inconel 52 welding wire is used in a wide range of demanding applications:

• Inconel 690: Welding of Inconel 690 heat exchanger components.
• Dissimilar Welds: Joining nickel alloys to stainless and low-alloy steels.
• Chemical Processing: Welding of high-chromium nickel alloy components.
