Inconel 617 (UNS N06617 / W.Nr. 2.4663a) is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy with exceptional oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength up to 1200°C. The combination of chromium, aluminum, and cobalt provides superior resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation.

Corrosion Resistance

Outstanding oxidation resistance up to 1200°C due to the formation of a protective chromium-aluminum oxide scale. Excellent resistance to carburization in high-temperature environments. Good resistance to molten salt corrosion.
