Nickel 200 (UNS N02200 / W.Nr. 2.4060) is commercially pure nickel with excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments, particularly against caustic alkalis. It has good thermal and electrical conductivity, and outstanding magnetic and magnetostrictive properties.

Corrosion Resistance

Excellent resistance to caustic soda and other alkalis at all concentrations and temperatures. Good resistance to reducing acids. Resistant to stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments. Outstanding performance in deaerated acids.
