Nimonic 86 (UNS N07306) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent oxidation and carburization resistance up to 1000°C. The addition of cerium enhances the adhesion and healing of the protective oxide scale, providing superior long-term performance in hostile environments.

Corrosion Resistance

Excellent oxidation resistance up to 1000°C. Outstanding resistance to carburization in high-temperature carbon-containing environments. Good resistance to sulfidation and nitridation. The cerium addition improves scale adhesion under thermal cycling.
